Thread was closed because co was closed not because of “Haters”

TIM also raised the price on a guarantee last launch.

So he taught you how to make money selling hype. Get off his nutts. The dude is unethical.

Thanks for this well written and professional reply. I got one for you now; get off my blog and my list. I have zero interest in helping folks who present such negative views. You want to make an intelligent argument based on what you know to be fact I’m all ears but until then…

You know nothing but what you hear. I speak to the guy daily on the phone and there isn’t a Warrior out there that cares MORE about over delivering than Tim.

Say what you will but you’re wasting time hating while the rest of us are spending time making those around us lead better lives.

    Hey James,

I wouldn’t normally respond but on this occasion I totally get where you’re coming from, the people who trashed Tim’s thread are jealous wannabes, as you mention WF is not the place to bring up litigation issues, it makes me sad to see such things going on.

Dude I have bought some of your stuff I can say you’ve always over-delivered on value. In this video blog alone you share your wisdom about not giving up at the 1st hurdle, you’ve certainly inspired me, don’t stop cos your stuff rocks man.

    Hi James
Wish I could answer the question. I think some of it is jealosy and some of it is an addiction to drama. Little people with little minds and nothing better to do with their time.
I noticed it with your release this week and was inspired to make a comment.
I find it frustrating when people leave the objective and go for the emotional when they are supposed to be commenting on the product. I had a question about the ethics of another marketeers bonus product so I emailed him.
He emailed all his customers – subjectline ‘Do not suffer in silence – you better open this!!!’ and answered my question and the questions of others (I got the benefit of stuff I hadn’t thought about. I went on to the forum and left a comment about the product and customer service – (2 comments in a week – better watch myself:). My policy is that if I have a problem with someone I remove myself from their mailing lists, usually if the product is that bad there is a no refund policy.
I don’t know the people involved but wonder if there is a conspiracy to attack certain people. Just a thought and you and other sufferers might like to keep an eye out.

Other than this, I hope all is going better with you. You have my best wishes

    Lillian

      Lillian,

You’re one smart cookie! There actually is a group of people that conspire to leave nasty comments on certain folks WSOs. The problem is they do so from proxy accounts so tracking them down is nearly impossible. Folks love drama, at times I am reminded of my high school days…

      Thanks for posting!

      James

James, to be fair it works the other way as well. There are several groups of people who “conspire” to support each other’s WSOs. I had an email conversation with one of them (someone you know well), who admitted that he would never leave any kind of negative review of a WSO, however objective and well-founded, because his WSOs would get trashed in return.

Someone else on on a very reputable forum I use left a fair, but negative, review of a WSO and was threatened by the seller that he was “looking forward to reviewing” any future WSOs he put out – the intent was very clear. He explicitly said that the negative review had stopped his sales dead – and it wasn’t even that bad!

The WF is a FORUM, people are expected to comment. Sure, it’s wrong to trash something out of spite – but isn’t it also morally irresponsible to refuse to post a negative view out of fear of what will happen to your own WSO? Isn’t that a form of protectionism? That effectively means that the only negative reviews are going to come from people like me, who don’t put out WSOs and don’t work in the IM market.

I’m not commenting about Tim’s WSO in what I said above, I have no idea what the story is behind it. I would say that if there’s a query over who owns the content of any WSO, it’s fair that the thread is closed until the seller can establish ownership. Something similar happened with some “copyright-free” graphics that turned out not be copyright-free at all.

Buyers should definitely take responsibility for their actions – and so should sellers.

        • Isobel

Sorry, I wanted to make it clear that the guy I referred to in the first paragraph wasn’t prepared to post a negative review to his own list. This wasn’t even a case of a public comment. He told us he’d bought some WSOs that weren’t worth the money, but wouldn’t tell his list what they were. This is the same list he expects to support him by buying products that he does recommend. While I applaud his honesty in private to me, I don’t applaud his moral stand. Some may call it pragmatic, I call it dishonest.

        • James

I could not disagree with you more.

If every time someone claimed ownership a thread was closed that means I could go in any thread and say I owned the content thus temporarily closing the WSO. Now, what about the 1,000s of people who got an email and go there…what about all the JV’s that mailed for the offer? The first 24-48 hours account for 90% of WSO sales so if the thread is closed during that time even for a short while the WSO creator is losing $1,000s every single hour its down. Its not fair in the slightest bit.

If someone owns the content then they can file a legal DMCA and the content will be taken down immediately. A claim is not good enough. We need to all be operating by the “innocent until proven guilty motto” not the other way around.

And as far as negative reviews I leave them up in my own threads and have never once threatened anyone for leaving one. IF someone is doing that then its simply childish and unprofessional behavior. You may also note that those WSO sellers who operate ethically such as myself DO NOT have groups supporting us. I never ask for a review, not before the sale and not after. Not once on any of my download pages have I asked a customer to leave any review.

I ONLY get unsolicited feedback good or bad. That’s the way to be the most honest and also the best way to improve the product. IF someone leaves a negative review that is legit they will point out what they didn’t like thus giving you the perfect info to make it better. Its the haters that leave nothing but “this product sucks” type reviews who are not worth the time. They are just nasty little people who lead miserable lives and want to spread their misery. And I won’t even get started on the ones that launch personal attacks on the WSO creator themselves.

          Cheers,

          James

Firstly James, I bought the course, now I have been around the block a few times(3 years) I do not understand all this rubbish and bitchyness, and I never do that stuff although if I have a view I will inform the person who I bought a product off, Tim is let’s say an authority in this business (I hate the Guru word) and I have bought Tims stuff before, I am a great fan of Anthony and a Tube Ranker member, great stuff and I truely mean that, no question, no doubt, Anthony is awesome, I have a product that takes one of Tims methods a step further and I have a video ready to go dealing with CPA networks and a few black hat methods for quick cash, I know it works because I’m using it, anyway if you would like to do a JV I would be happy to show you the vid to see what you think? up to you but it needs to be quick. I am currently working with Dean Holland and Alex Jeffries to launch a local marketing course,WSO trust me I’m good at it and have several multiple position one sites for my clients already, but that’s another product and I would love your help on this too, anyway I do hope that Tim gets this sorted out quickly, he’s a good guy and I wouldn’t consider him in any way dishonest, pass Tim my regards tell him to keep positive, the law of attraction will surface eventually and without doing anything himself, he will come through this stupid hiccup.

Take care – John (Ps I am on your list under another e-mail address) just so as you know John_robbins_@

No link juice for me here I haven’t done an AHref link Lol

      Hey there John,

Thanks for posting and you’re absolutely right. The law of attraction applies and Tim won’t let this get in his way. Some folks do some funny things when it comes to money and envy and WF is certainly no exception. I was concerned for the guy so I called him today to check on him. He was spending time with his sister and his lady so we only chatted a few minutes but he plans on doing exactly what I knew he would; find a way to get this thing into the hands of those who want in!

      Cheers,

Most of the drama isn’t worth addressing….people who buy into drama that they read on threads or anywhere for that matter are a perfect match for the drama…

Resisting the drama is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline….

It’s all the same as a mile marker on the highway isn’t it? Not good, not bad, just is….it just is…

Being upset about the quality of a WSO makes as much sense as being mad about buying clothes two sizes too small or too large and then blaming the store for a poor fit..

Anyone new to the “information game” has to adjust to a new way of shopping… take it to the dressing room to see if it fits…eventually they learn before purchasing which methods are a fit for their personality…

It all comes out in the wash, there will always be those that make you thankful for the rest…and thankful you’re not them!

Chances are that if it won’t matter in a few days or years–it’s not worth the bother now..

Times are so crazy for so many….not to excuse poor behavior….but sometimes all a person has left to cling to before drowning is their anger…

    Criticisms usually amount to confessions.

All is our reflection on the pond of life…

    Let it go….

    James,

THANK YOU for this. I had no idea what was going on with Tim’s launch. I had bought so many WSOs (after I told myself I wouldn’t) that I was going into overload (AGAIN!!!).

I’m glad you told the story of what happened. I have InstaCash Formula and I read the PDF. I liked the brokering and a few of the other methods. Now I get to dig in.

Also, I went to Tim’s site just now and he has a blog post with more info in it than most ebooks. It’s just awesome. But I can’t buy anymore products until I use what I have.

That’s my rule now. I’m off the hamster wheel and ready to make it happen. I have the tech skills and the mindset. I just never friggin finish anything. Time to change that.

    ‘Preciate you greatly.

    Hey James,

I just bought one of your products the other day (Instant Cash Formula) so I’ve never heard of you until then. I just need to get out more I guess.

Sorry to hear about what your friend Tim is going through but I’m also feeling a little sorry for the people that bought something 6 months or so ago to find out that now it is no longer available.

I don’t feel sorry for them because they may have been duped, I feel sorry for them because they may have thought that the vendor has the responsibility to keep a DL page open for an eternity.

I did not purchase any of Tims products so I cannot comment on the quality or lack there-of – that is not what my comment here is about.

It is about something you touched on in your video – people (buyers) needing to practice some common sense and taking responsibility for their actions.

When you purchase an IM product, even if you are not going to do anything with it right away, at least get it on your computer so when you are ready you will have it.

I feel a rant coming on so I’ll cut it off here before it gets ugly.

I mainly wanted to say that I like your style (maybe its a like-minded ADD affliction) and thanks for keeping it real.

    Your Newest Fan –
    Steve D.

    • James

      Thanks Steve!

Just to be clear, I agree that ideally a DL page would be available for years not months but I also think that buyers in general (I’m a buyer too mind you) need to be held accountable for their actions. It crazy just how lazy and spoiled the market is becoming. I gotta say that its only about 3-5% of people that act that way but unfortunately its like anything else, folks tend to gravitate to the bad more than the good.

I look forward to providing your some great content Steve and wanted to say thanks for taking time to post!

    Hi James,
Thank you so much for recommending Tim’s WSO.
I am in Australia and knowing that you had a 1 hour heads up on this offer set my alarm clock for 2am only when I was on the computer and waiting for your email with the link did I remember we are on daylight savings time so had to wait an hour, well worth the wait and am so glad, if i had not done this sounds like the link would have been closed before I awoke. Sometimes you get to do the right thing for no apparent reason as I have never got up in the middle of the night for a launch yet, call it karma or whatever I am so glad i did. You just sound to me like the real deal, not a scammer and I trust your advice.
Many thanks for all you do for the average IM wannabie.
    Love
    Aunty Lyn

    Hey Bro,

    You are so true!

It does take some time to get over the “roadblocks” and I remember the days when I would do the exact same thing – read a course and say – this will never work because of…

Once I finally got over that :-) I see information in a whole new light – I read something and I look for the holes BUT how I can exploit those holes to make the tactic work even better…

James, you have helped me see some things in a whole new light and as you know I’ve already seen more success just by being able to “surround myself with winners” being yourself and those in your mastermind…

Life is too short to hate and be negative – kick this shit out and get to work – Being happy and productive is less stress anyways ;-)

Keep up the good work James!

    Talk soon…

    Cheers,
    Coby Wright

      Rock on Coby!

I think the best thing I ever did for myself was start that mastermind. It helps keep me on path and hold me accountable for my actions.

Today I remembered a quote I read once “Don’t let negative people rent space in your head.” I think it applies perfectly to this topic!

      Cheers,

      James

Well I hope that since i didn’t bash anyone even though i am one of those who bought commission overload and was to lazy to download all the files that i don’t fall into the loser category. I really do agree with about everything you said in your rant and really couldn’t quite follow the people’s logic that was bashing Tim and then used a loop hole in the rules to close the thread. I live just up the road from Tim mabey someday I’ll get to meet him. Oh well time to go study Ninja commissions.

      Terry,

In my opinion just what you wrote here sets you apart from so many people out there. Not a one of us are perfect and btw, I didn’t download half the stuff in CO either but I can’t blame Tim.
I was busy and honestly had the “I’ll get around to it” mindset. We all do it but its a matter of how we accept responsibility for our actions that determines where we stand.

I’d say you’re a WINNER in every sense of the word.

      Cheers,

    Hey James,

What I’ve found to be true is that the higher you rise in life, the more you will find some small, petty person trying to knock you down to their level. Tim has reached sufficient success to cause jealousy in these types.

I’ve purchased a few of his products as well as a couple of yours and have been happy with the information I’ve received. Not everything I’ve read has been a good fit for me, but I’ve learned something useful from each thing I’ve purchased.

I bought the InstaCash product as a gift for my sister as she’s having some financial difficulties right now. I figure it’s better for her to learn how to make extra money on her own rather than me or someone else in the family just giving it to her. Once she learns how to create income streams, no one can take that away from her, so it’s the best Christmas gift I could think of.

The way I handle haters like the ones you described… when they start paying my bills, paying for my food and provide a place for me to live, I’ll start listening to them. Until that time… screw ‘em.

Hope you and yours have a great Thanksgiving.

    Robert

    • James

Thanks Robert! And bravo for helping your sister take her own stand.

The biggest mistake I made when I first got started with product creation was trying to convince everyone I was right or my way was the right way. Some folks you will never convince no matter how hard you try and they will always find something to be unhappy about. They are the same folks that no one wants to be around in their personal lives as well; we all know the type.

Keep on keepin on my friend!

      James

  13. Peter

Fortunately I am too busy to get into hating or bashing. If you donĀ“t like the product you bought, get in contact with the seller and get a refund. If you do like the product, dive in there and take action. Life really is NOT that complicated. But a lot of people outthere make it their life’s mission to make it just that. Too busy making my life great to deal with people holding me down.

Was lucky enough to get in with Ninja commissions and been around long enough to know there are people outthere that would take any of the subjects coverded and sell it for $47 on clickbank per subject without offering the indepth training provided (Yep, been silly enough to buy those products myself as well). Got in at $18,50 and think that is one hell of a bargain for what is offered. So Tim thanks for putting all this stuff together and James, thanks for having me on the early bird list.

Off doing stuff and taking action.

    See Ya!

    Peter

I don’t know you or Tim. I can only judge by what is available in the public domain, or through items I have purchased from the two of you. I have indeed purchased products from both you and Tim. I’ve liked your products and have no beef with them. I have purchased a couple of products that Tim has pushed for other people, and they have been decent enough products. But Tim is clearly just the pitchman for these products, he is not the creator of them (or has very little to do with the creation). I bought CO – it was clear from looking at the videos that Kenny was the brains of the operation, the one that was coming up with most of the clever ways to works towards becoming a success with IM. The next release, PS, was shutdown because Tim was engaging in some shenanigans with hyping the product under different names but posting from the same IP address. Not very smart OR ethical.

The bottom line is that Tim’s reputation as a marketer has taken a hit at the WF, and it is his own doing. He does not come across as a guy that I would trust to do the right thing. He is instead glib, and a little bit dopey. He was entertaining at first, and able to create enough hype to get people to buy the products he was pushing. And, to his credit, he has chosen to hook up with product creators that have made him look good. But now he is just annoying, and I don’t even bother with the products he is pushing.

If Tim is your friend and you are simply sticking up for him, that’s fine. But, if you view him as a mentor in this field, then you may need to re-think that choice. Frankly, there has to be better choices to help you further your IM career than Tim.

    • James

      Ken,

I appreciate the comment but I think you need to do a bit more homework on who was posting from the various IPs as it wasn’t Tim. No offsense to TIm but the guy has about as much tech skill as a monkey. He outsources 90% of his business like a true business owner and wouldn’t know the first thing about posting from Proxies. However, the “brains” of CO knows all about proxies as its something he teaches..oO?

      Are you following me here?

Tim’s a guy doing multiple six figures a month and quite honestly the public can think what they want. I have phone calls with the guy several times a week and its always the same thing “MASSIVE VALUE.” Tim’s not trying to rip anyone off and he is all about delivering more value than anyone else. You have a bunch of people that don’t like the fact that he uses his brand to push other people’s creations..ok I don’t get that.

That is called JV Brokering and its one of the very best business models in IM. Take Kenny for example; Kenny had no rep and no way to bring a product like CO to market. He and Tim JV’d and Tim made that product a massive success. Tim owned the trademark, the brand, etc but somewhere along the line the two of the had a disagreement. Why?

Simple, they were friends and as such didn’t put it all on paper :( Next thing you know they are not on the same page and as is the norm when money is involved a friendship fell apart and the war started.

No one is perfect and Tim is no exception but as far as a mentor he is a great one. I’ve been working with Tim now six months and not once time has he suggested any black hat or unethical strategies to me.

      Just my two cents,

      James Sides

    Thanks for this video, James.

I have bought Ninja Commissions through you but have to say that when Tim mentioned ‘members’ competitions’ in the sales video, it rang a bell in my head because that’s what he offered in Commission Overload, of which I was also a member. I was a JV Partner for it’s launch into Clickbank because that was one of the competitions.

I had been disappointed that the regular emails from Tim were coming to me through that member list but not one of them referred to some news or something motivational about Commission Overload. It was as if he was letting it fade out because he’d had the money and it was time to move onto the next money-spinner. Yet, he had promised that we were lifetime members and that there would always be activity and competitions, etc.

I had no idea that the site was empty until reading that on the WSO thread. Ok, so it means that links to joining CO on my website are dead. Not the end of the world but obviously no money to be made through them.

In spite of all this, I have no qualms about paying for Ninja Commissions – at the price, no-one would lose out even if some of the info had already been available.

In my opinion, Tim made only one mistake and that was not telling CO members that he had to close it down. I could have accepted that, no problem. Not doing that has, I guess, made people wary that the same will happen to Ninja Commissions. Or maybe, like others have said, it’s just pure jealousy or just plain negative outlook.

Anyway, I am enjoying this new membership site and am very pleased it got in on it! I see that Tim is active on it so what more can we expect of a person?

    Said my bit!

      Ros,

You got a good head on your shoulders for sure!

Just a quick fyi, Tim actually did send out emails letting folks know when CO closed down; he gave free access to everyone on his list for the last two days before it closed. I wonder if it was a case of it going to spam since our email providers have all decided they know what we want in our inbox for us…

Thanks for posting a well written and rational viewpoint!
